Many students seriously undersell themselves and even misrepresent themselves through sub-par writing. College Application Essays

Brainstorming Power Hour (1 Hour 1:1 Zoom Coaching Only) – $120

• The brainstorming power hour is helpful if you are feeling torn between different essay topics or confused about where to begin. I will help you identify the most promising topics and come up with a basic essay structure so you feel equipped to continue working on your essay on your own.
  • We can use the entire hour however you find most helpful, whether it is to discuss your Common App Essay, or multiple supplemental essay topics. 
  • I will also provide you with an effective brainstorming template to respond to (prior to our Zoom session) to maximize every minute of our time together. 

Common App Completed + 1 Hour Zoom Coaching – $500

• • This is the best package for you if you have not begun writing your Common App Essay yet and would like to start off with a 1 Hour Zoom Brainstorming Session. After the Zoom session, we will continue working together until your essay is in top shape and ready to submit. This is also a great package for you if you have begun a rough draft but are not feeling confident about it and wish to take your essay to the next level. 
    • $500 includes:
      • Brainstorming template provided by Jane
      • 1-hour Zoom coaching and brainstorming session (this will lead to a solid outline for the essay)
      • Followed by up to 3 more rounds of virtual coaching (via email, texting, and Google Docs) until your essay is ready to submit.

Single Supplemental Essay Completed + 30-minute optional Zoom session  – $250

• This is the best package for you if you have not begun a draft for your supplemental essay and would like to start off with a 30-minute Zoom coaching session. After the Zoom session, we will continue working together until your essay is in top shape and ready to submit! This is also a great package for you if you have begun a rough draft but are not feeling confident it and wish to take your essay to the next level. 
  • $250 includes: 
    • A 30-minute Zoom brainstorming and coaching session if it is helpful to you
    • Up to 3 rounds of virtual coaching and feedback for your supplemental essay until the essay is in top shape and ready to submit.

3 Supplemental Essays Completed + 1 Hour Zoom Coaching – $700 

• This package is for you if you need help on 3 supplemental essays and you have not begun writing them OR you have rough drafts but are not feeling confident about them.
  • $700 includes: 
    • 1 hour Zoom coaching and brainstorming sessions (I am happy to split this into two separate 30-minute sessions depending on your needs)
    • Up to 3 rounds of edits for 3 supplemental essays until essays are in top shape and ready to submit.
    • If you wish to work on ONLY 2 supplemental essays, this is also doable. Reach out to me for a custom price quote!

Extra Charges:

• URGENT TIMELINES: If your essay is due in 10 days (or less) at the time we begin working together, you may be charged an additional $100 for the urgent timeline. I will inform you about this beforehand so there are no surprises!
• EXTRA ROUNDS OF EDITS: Though this rarely happens, if you end up requiring or wanting extra rounds of edits, beyond the agreed upon 3 rounds of edits, this may result in an additional fee, but we will talk through this during the process so that there are no surprises on your end.
