My background as a licensed Special Education teacher has convinced me that a cookie-cutter approach to success simply does not work. I enjoy working on a highly personal level with students and clients, taking time to understand each person’s unique background and motivation for writing before delving into the editing process.
I hold a B.A in English & Child Development from Tufts University, an M.A in Applied Behavior Analysis from Columbia University, and a New York State teaching license for birth – 6th grade. I have personal experience applying to universities and teaching jobs across the country. I have written scientific research papers at the graduate level and fundraised for NGO’s through grant writing, though my true passion lies in helping others to write powerful personal narratives.
I have enjoyed working with clients from all walks of life including high school students navigating the college application process, graduate students for whom English is not their primary language, PhD candidates working on a final thesis, and volunteers fundraising for their own salaries.
